RWF The Vicar (IMP USA)
EMH 15hh, DoB 16 June 2011
Sorry, The Vicar isn't available to outside mares.
Our plan when buying a purebred gypsy cob was to buy a mare that was 14.3hh+, and preferably homozygous. After countless, fruitless hours searching the internet, we finally found a mare that really excited us, Running Winds Farm's beautiful Gypsy Princess. Unfortunately, she was out of our price range, but scrolling down, I saw a picture of her colt, The Vicar, and fell instantly, hopelessly in love, and knew that we had found our gypsy cob....
Several months later, The Vicar started his long journey from Vermont, USA, to Paeroa, NZ.
His breeder, Debbi Howard was wonderful to deal with, and very generously (given what a very busy lady she is) sent us countless of photos and updates on our boy. Every photo that we received convinced us that we had made a good choice, and when we finally met The Vicar, he was everything we'd hoped for.
